Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Schönert

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Schönert was a scholar of Hans Rumpf, the founder of the Institute for Mechanical Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe / Germany. He also supported the publishing of speeches and texts of Hans Rumpf. Citation of H.R.:

“In each technical process there are three dimensions which are involved: Material, energy and information.

When the prehistoric man made his hand-axe the stone was modified and transformed and energy was consumed for the breakage. But already at that time the most important was the information, the know-how: Which stone to take, where to find it, how to process it and what to do with the hand-axe.”
